Sam Corderoy
Chair of Trustees
Sam loves to serve the local community and previously spent eight years in school governance, volunteered in various church roles and worked for In2Out, a charity which mentors young people as they leave prison. As part of her role as Director of The Harrogate Hub, she visited Shine in April 2021 to learn from what we do. Sam immediately fell in love with Shine and wanted to be part of the team – she joined as Chair of Trustees just a few months later.
Prior to that Sam was at Procter & Gamble, leading brands such as Gillette, Ariel, Pampers and Head & Shoulders. She also led the creation of P&G Clean Water- the campaign that fronts the company’s social responsibility programme which has provided over 14 billion litres of clean water to those who need it.
Sam is passionate about people and helping their voices to be heard, things that Shine is passionate about too.
